Christmas is approaching quickly, but I’ve been working steadily.  Much like the tortoise, I’m hoping to cross the finish line in fine style well before Christmas.

I’m having to make alterations to several patterns and that is time consuming as well as back breaking.  Of all the things I miss the most, a pain-free back is at the top of my list!  Dani was a gem yesterday and did some of the pattern tracing for me and followed my instructions for altering a couple of patterns for my eldest grandson while I sat idly by.  I consoled myself with the thought that learning to make simple alterations to a pattern is a good skill for her to learn.
