When Copper and I were first married, I was amazed at the little things that caused strife in our marriage.  While we rarely quibbled over big issues, little things would irritate or annoy and cause us to have a less than joyful marriage.  It probably took me months to discover that I could eliminate at least one little “stresser” in our  marriage for just a few bucks!

You see, I’m a toothpaste tube squeezer.  I’m the one that squeezes that tub right in the middle!  I’m frugal enough that I do, eventually, get the point of scraping all of the toothpaste up to the top; but not until necessity requires.  Copper, on the other hand, carefully squeezes his tube from the bottom up.  He even employs a large bobby pin to neatly roll up the empty part of the tube.  Geesh!!!

Buying that second tube of toothpaste is just a few bucks, but for most of our 28 year marriage, one small annoyance has been settled!  Don’t let the little things cause troubles in your marriage.  Love your husbands by looking for an easy way to reduce the annoyance those little things can cause, and then do away with it!

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!
