The series on hospitality will, Lord willing, return tomorrow.  Today was a beautiful, glorious extremely spring-like day in our little corner of the world.   Copper and I took full advantage of it, spending the day with our eldest grand child in honor of his recent birthday.  I’ll be sharing more about this soon in a post on traditions.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these shots of our day.  We had a blast!!

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!

  • Oooooh he is growing up too fast!  I love that boy, to bad he didn’t want to go to the “gazoo” and see the “wonkeys” with gramma and pampaw.

  • Cute!!! I’m glad you got pictures! Share??? Please?????

  • I’ll definitely send pictures your way, Corin!!!  Later….

  • What sweet pictures! It sounds like you all had a wonderful day together! I’m looking foward to hearing about your traditions.

  • Thanks so much for the part about children being children. My children are pretty well behaved, but they are not soldiers. So many blogs out there put such emphasis on commenting on others’ children in stores or what have you it makes me paranoid in a way, to a point I wonder who’s wondering what about my little ones and maybe I shouldn’t take them anywhere or have anyone over. I know that is foolish as that is the only way they will learn to be socially acceptable–practice. It’s good to see a breath of fresh air on the subject! I actually feel relieved.

  • Jenn – Our children are so precious, and, like us, are works in progress.      I completely understand about  wondering what others are thinking; but so long as we’re training our children up in the way they should go, we need to just perservere and not worry about what other folks think.  It wouldn’t hurt all of us to remember to extend a wee bit more grace to one another either!   Thanks for your comments!
