     We’re celebrating Copper’s Dad’s birthday this evening.  I’m preparing dinner for 12, which is a ton of fun for me!  Besides the five of us, we’ll have Copper’s Dad and Meg (his wife), Corin and her husband and the three grandchildren!  I’ve just returned from town with fresh strawberries and greens for our salad.  I’ll be serving our meal buffet style from a table in the dining area of our kitchen.  We’ll move the long dining table to the schoolroom so that we can put the leaves in the table.  I love having a table large enough for all twelve of us to gather around.  I’m off to start preparations.  Here’s the menu:
