Having a menu plan in place is vital to the smooth running of my home.  My kitchen.  I really missed having my menu plan in place last week.  We survived, of course, but I like things working at better than “survival” mode!  This week’s menu includes some old standards, something new that I’m going to try (the stuffed chicken breasts on Tuesday) and a couple of good, hearty soups in honor of the on set of some wonderful fall weather, including several days of rain in the weather forecast for the week!

As always, I will post any recipes marked with an * later in the week, usually late in the day that it is to be prepared.  For more great menu planning ideas, be sure to visit this week’s Menu Plan Monday.

  • Oh gosh.  I want to eat at your house!

You are so organized.  My hat is off to you! 🙂

  • It’s good to have a plan that way you don’t have to spend time thinking about what to have and you know what to defrost.  Your menu sounds good and I printed out the coffee cake recipe to try. Thanks!

  • Aaaaaahhhh! Thank goodness you posted your weekly menu plan~now my Monday can get started without the “glitch” I had last week when you didin’t post it. Just kidding Cheryl~ I just love to see what you have planned to feed your family and get some new ideas and inspiration to try new recipes too! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday. For some reason, Mondays and Saturdays are my favorite days. Mondays because it’s a fresh start to a new week and I like getting back into routine after having Sunday off and Saturdays~well, I don’t know. I think I like it because it’s the last catch-up day before my day off on Sunday.

  • I love your menus every week!! Another great looking one here!

  • :sunny: Oh your menu plan looks so good!
Mine is different this week because we have a couple of volleyball games and some volunteering for most of the latter part of the week and weekend.
I am embarrassed to say that my plan is for some quick and simple yet tasty meals this week!

    Have a blessed day!

  • HollyhockCottage – There’s nothing wrong with quick and simple on busy days. In fact, I consider it great planning!
