This Week’s Menu

I’m still working away at my list of projects.  Thanks in very large part to Dani, I made some great strides on Saturday.  In fact, one of the things that she did for me was to put together this week’s menu.  Thanks, Dani!

We have a birthday this week.  Wednesday.  Family will be joining us for cake and ice cream Wednesday evening, so we’ll take the birthday boy out for the traditional restaurant birthday meal on Tuesday night.  Dani’s cooking Saturday night, so maybe we can convince her to share the Stuffed Loaf recipe then.  (hint hint hint)  Menu planning has really saved the day around here this last, crazy busy week, and it will keep things flowing smoothly as the busy days continue into this week, too.  Menu planning is a wonderful tool to help you look well to the ways of your household!  Our plan is pretty basic and family friendly this week, which will help keep things simple.  For more menu planning inspiration be sure to visit this week’s Menu Plan Monday.

  • 9 year old tomato soup?? That’s quite a shelf life šŸ™‚ Happy Birthday Will! I’ve been reading your blog for some time now and really enjoy sharing in your days!

  • Okay, Tawnya already asked my question ~ what in the world is nine year old tomato soup??  lol  I love reading your menu planning Mondays and I especially enjoy getting a good giggle out of some of the names of your dishes:lol:

  • Don’t worry, we’re not going to be eating nine year old tomato soup.  It’s just a fun name for it that my mom did for a certain boy who will be turning nine that day.  His most favorite soup is tomato.

Don’t worry, we wont be eating nachos made from little birthday boys either.

  • Sounds like a good menu, I just posted ours for the next week also. Have a great day.:)

  • Woohoo! Happy Birthday Will. What a fun day you will have. Nachos are one of my favorites too. Yum!

Cheryl, please let us know how you like the book Sacred Influence and what the ladies in your church think of it. Its on my “to buy” list and I am wondering what others think.

    Blessings

  • Oddly enough Cheryl, I’m finding many of the things that are on your list, I’ve been doing also.  We’ve needed a new schedule and this past 2 weeks we’ve been trying to see what works the best for us.  The rest of tonight or even tomorrow will be set aside for doing that.

    God Bless your day!

How creative of you Dani to come up with such cute names for the food!
