Checking In

The taxes are done.  Typically, I prefer that we are at a “break even” point on our state and federal returns – not owing much, if anything, and not expecting much of a refund either.  Yesterday I was surprised when I tallied up the federal return and discovered the size of our refund.  Last night the van began making a racket.  Said racket was diagnosed today at our small town garage and totals just about the exact amount of the refund.  The Lord truly blessed!  In more ways than one, but He always does.  Always.

Other than that, I’m just checking in briefly.  I have all sorts of things saved up to share, but homeschooling, homemaking, parenting, gardening, cooking and spending one last day off with my husband are taking precedence.  I know you understand.  My days are very full, blessedly full; and I am doing what I love best.

Please remember to pray for baby Grace as she continues at the hospital.

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!
