What We’re Cooking Up This Week

We’re on week two of pulling meals together from not too much.  Last time I shopped, there were quite a few non-food items, necessary to our home, that had to be purchased from the food money.  (I don’t separate out things like toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc., it’s all bought with our “food” money.).  That’s okay!  We have times where that happens!  The Lord provides for our needs, though; and He provides abundantly.  Though our variety may be a bit more limited this week, we’re still in good shape.

In fact, I’ve been able to put two freezer meals aside, and will likely be able to do another before we do the mega shop this Friday!  God is so good!  I also put two loaves of our everyday sandwich bread into the freezer last week.  However, I didn’t get quite all the freezer cooking done that I’d hoped, so a few things are carried over to this week’s list.

Having Dani gone for so much of the last couple of weeks, I haven’t had the time or inclination to look for new recipes to try.  I’m looking forward to looking for a few new warm weather recipes and getting those onto my menu next week.
