Who Need Oprah?

     I’ve enjoyed Barbara Curtis’ Mommy Life blog for years.  I don’t always see eye to eye with her on everything; but when I don’t, she always makes me think through why I don’t agree.  That’s a good thing!  Sometimes, she even changes my mind.  Barbara’s first selection for “Barbara’s Book Club” has been made, and I will be joining her.  How about you join us, too?  Click here for the details.
     Please read this post and this post for more information and to understand why I think it is so vitally important that you are reading!

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!

  • I was just looking for a new read. I requested this book from my library and will be rstarting it as soon as it comes in.

  • An additional consideration would be:

    Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

    Thanks for the link to the Mommy’s Life blog. I’d never heard of it. I’ll see if the library has Animal Farm available – I think I read it at one time – perhaps long ago and in a faraway place.

  • @ladyjanesjournal – Atlas Shrugged is in my pile of books, the huge and still growing pile of books, that I’ll be using to refill my reading basket very, very soon!!  I’ve a few last titles to get through from the last filling first.  I heard Barbara Curtis speak at Bay Area CHEA once upon a time, and enjoyed her very much.  Her blog is an interesting one to follow as she covers a wide range of topics.

    @TheUnaverageJoesWife – I’m glad you’re joining in.
