What About The Drawing?

Copper and I take our grandchildren out for a special day for their birthdays, beginning with their 5th birthday.  Our seven year old grandson has been seven for several weeks now, but today is the day that we have finally arranged to take him out for our special day together.  I’m excited!!   We left the house this morning and will not be home until towards evening.  I arranged with Dani to close the drawing at noon, by leaving a final closing comment at that time.

Later this evening I will use a random number generator to choose the winner, and I’ll make the announcement shortly thereafter.  I do apologize for the delay, but I know that you understand.

     Until this evening,

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!

  • Enjoy your time with your grandson.  I’m sure he will remember it.  My grandparents (my mom’s parents) made my childhood very speical.  They would take me to yard saling day with them, out for special outtings and every year they took us kids to the fair.  We looked forward to it every year.  We would leave early in the morning and not leave until late at night.  I remember grandpa having to carry us from the car to the house as we were asleep almost as soon as we got in the car to head home.  Memories with my grandparents carry a special place in my heart to this day.  :)

  • @juejee – My children, my girls especially, have very fond memories of time spent with grandparents.  Paw Paw Lu is the only grandparent my kids still have, and we cherish the time with him!  We want our grandchildren to have the same sorts of memories with us, and I know their other set of grandparents feel the same way.
