A Few Things I’d Like You To Know

Here are a few things I’d like for you to know.

     1.  It rained yesterday.  Actually, it poured.  All afternoon.  And it was cold.  No problem!  We simply moved the festivities indoors.  We sequestered the kids in a bedroom while the dads hid the eggs.  We staggered the hunters, youngest to oldest, handing out the baskets as each one passed through the entry way, each hunter a few minutes behind the younger child ahead of him or her.

     2.  Pixie Girl called ahead in order to coordinate her outfit for the day with her basket and eggs.  Her fashion sense is extraordinary given her not-quite-three-year-old status.  Check out the bright pink faux Doc Marten’s.  Oh, be still my heart!

     3.  There is no truth to the rumor that the candy consumed at Grandma’s house caused Grandson #1 to lose both of his top teeth.  From the look of his basket and eggs, it appears that color coordination was important to him, too.

     4.  Outdoor activities are fine, but a fun movie inside by the wood stove is great on a stormy, cold holiday.  Do these kids love their Uncle Will, or what?!?!

     5.  The 2010 Peep Wars happened.  Click on over for this year’s battles, and don’t miss the all important tutorial and video sweeps of the fans in the stands.  All new!  Action packed!  Crazy loud!

     6.  I am one blessed woman!

God bless you as you look well to the ways of your household!

  • Hi Cheryl,

It is so good to see you back. I have been enjoying your archives. I started at the beginning and have been working my way through. What a wealth of knowledge I have gain.Thank you for sharing with us.

I thought of you and Will yesterday at church. A man sat in front of me that had his suit coat collar turned up and then the carpet running down the midle of the church had lint and strings on it. My eyes kept going from that man’s collar to the floor. LOL Dave would lean over and whisper to me no do not fix that man’s collar and don’t pick up that lint on the floor. LOL I know you understand what I am talking about. Oh what a sense of humor God has. One of the deacons knows my struggles and after church he said I am so proud of you for staying in your seat. LOL

Talk with you soon dear friend.
