Let’s Stay Connected

The end of this week has been a whirlwind of summer activity. Youth hang outs at the church, a first day of summer party, my grandkids spending an afternoon and a birthday party have kept me busy. With all that happening, I’ve been scarce around here. I thought today might be a good day to answer some questions I’ve been asked recently about how to stay connected with Copperswife.

If you’re not already using a feed reader, you should be! I follow a ton of blogs and websites, and I just do not have time to visit each one individually to see if they have a new post, article or information posted. With a feed reader, I don’t have to! I use, and love, Google Reader. It’s reliable and easy to use, but there  are several readers out there for you to choose from.  You can see most of them, including Google Reader, by clicking the pretty orange RSS feed button in my right sidebar. It’s under my picture and just under the words, “Subscribe-Connect-Contact”. You can read the new posts right in the feed reader if you’re pressed for time, of course, but it only takes a second to click the link and actually visit the site.

You can click that same orange button if you’d like to have Copperswife delivered directly to your email inbox. Just look for the “Get Copperswife by email” link and click. Easy!

While we’re talking about those buttons in the sidebar, the “F” button will take you to the Copperswife Facebook page. If you’ll click “like” on that page, and then let your mouse hover over the “liked” button, it will open up a menu where you can click “Show in News Feed”. I promise that I won’t fill up your Facebook news feed with junk all week long! You’ll see the new blog posts when they happen, but I also share some other things there that I don’t write about on the blog. Typically, I post unique content to Facebook four to six times a week, featuring a book, link, quote, etc., that I think you’ll find helpful as you look well to the ways of your household.

You can also follow me on Twitter. My user name is CherCopperswife, and I’d love for you to follow me. Again, I promise to not fill up your Twitter feed with a lot of nonsense all day long. I limit my tweets to things that I think you’ll find helpful or that I think will be of interest to you.

I’m also on Pinterest. I’ve found lots of inspiration for cooking, decorating, do-it-yourself projects, quilting, sewing and more on Pinterest. Leave me a comment here if you decide to follow my boards on Pinterest and I’ll follow you back.

I hope this first weekend of summer finds you happily enjoying your family.

    Thank you for this info!

  • This is so helpful that I am printing it so I can figure it out in the morning!! I was away from my computer last week and my email is backed up with posts that arrive as fast as I have time to read them!! I am thinking I should unsub from having posts arrive in my inbox and have them in a feed.
