I kept wanting to hit the “like” button…until the Yellow Jacket!!! 🙂

    • He as so brave! He was stung at the exact same time as his younger brother. We were all so concerned about the younger one, who was crying, that we hadn’t even noticed that #1 had climbed out of the pool with a sting of his own. Those nasty yellow jackets were hovering all around the tree branch that overhands the pool. Ugh!

  • The “Rascal” made me smile! 🙂

I was looking through your book list and wondered if you ever reviewed, “Jesus + Nothing = Everything”?

    • Georgene – Since I wasn’t blogging regularly at the time, I didn’t do a review of Jesus + Nothing = Everything. For what it’s worth, I absolutely loved the book and highly recommend it. I’ve read Pastor Tullian before and enjoy his writing style, but Jesus+Nothing=Everything was just what I needed to read just when I needed to read it.

I like your little sewing area. Where is that in your house?

    • Jenny! Hi! That little sewing nook is down at the far end of our schoolroom (the big room we added onto the back of the house a few years ago). It was originally intended to be a mudroom, but since we’re no longer milking goats the space was able to be used differently. It’s tiny and it’s cramped, but it’s bright and filled with lots of good, natural light and it works for us. Give the family my love!

How sweet all the pictures! What did you do for the yellow jacket sting? I think we always put either baking soda paste or mud on them.

By the way, how old is your oldest grandson? Princess Joy is nearly seven and I am trying to talk her into letting me arrange her marriage LOL. She has told me over and over, “No Mama, I am going to go to the store one day and see a man I like that then I am going to marry him!” It will be hysterical if that happens 🙂

By the way, how do I find you on facebook?

    Many Blessings 🙂

Cheryl, thanks for the recommendation. We are getting a ton of hornets all of the sudden and I was searching for something to get just in case.

Yes, shopping for a Husband is very like Her. She says she will know what she likes when she sees it LOL. Princess Grace just tells me there is no way she is getting married. I said that and I got married at 19 LOL.

All your Children and Grandchildren are beautiful. Congrats on being near retirement!

I am going to check you out on FB 🙂
